About
In 1980s freedom and democracy were just a dream for citizens of Czechoslovakia. In those times, people were forming unregistered hobby clubs and interest groups, where they can express their desire for freedom and grudge against the former regime. Specific group was formed by those who’s hobby were fire arms and things related to them. The desire to hold legally a firearm was so strong, that some became a part of organizations under the red star. They had no respect for the symbol what’s so ever, but holding a firearm and be able to shoot was a privilege in those times.

These organized unregistered groups were monitored by the former regime. Not that it was full blown resistance movement, but in it’s own it was a form of rebellion against the government. Most activities were out in the open in the nature and the information about happenings was spread by the word of mouth.

After the regime change in 1989 there was a chance to open businesses and take the entrepreneurial path. This was after all part of the freedom dreamed about. However not all made it with a big business, but for some it was not the highest priority anyway. Those people have a different set of values and those are the people who make the CI-5 Club.
